Pyramids of Giza:
- Immense size and scale: The Great Pyramid of Khufu is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the largest pyramid ever built. Its sheer size and presence inspire awe and wonder.
- Architectural mastery: The pyramids showcase incredible engineering skills, standing strong for thousands of years despite the harsh desert environment.
- Mystery and intrigue: The exact purpose and construction methods of the pyramids remain shrouded in mystery, adding to their allure.
- The Great Sphinx: This enigmatic statue, guarding the Giza plateau, is another marvel of ancient Egyptian art and architecture.
Memphis:
- Once-great capital: Memphis was the bustling capital of ancient Egypt for over 3,000 years, leaving behind impressive ruins and artifacts.
- Museum of Antiquities: The Mit Rahina Museum houses a vast collection of Egyptian artifacts, offering a glimpse into life in Memphis.
- Colossus of Ramses II: This massive statue of Ramses II is a testament to the pharaoh’s power and grandeur.
Saqqara:
- Step Pyramid of Djoser: This revolutionary pyramid, built by Imhotep, marked a significant shift in Egyptian architecture and is considered the oldest stone building complex in the world.
- Serapis Serapeum: This underground tomb complex dedicated to the god Serapis is a fascinating example of Greco-Roman architecture blending with Egyptian traditions.
- Mastabas and tombs: Saqqara is home to numerous mastabas and tombs, offering insights into ancient Egyptian burial practices and beliefs.
Dahshur:
- Bent Pyramid: This pyramid’s unique shape, with a change in angle midway through construction, adds to the intrigue and mystery surrounding its construction.
- Red Pyramid: This pyramid, built with reddish limestone, is the largest pyramid after the Giza pyramids and showcases the evolution of pyramid construction techniques.
- Secluded location: Dahshur’s relative seclusion offers a quieter experience compared to the bustling Giza plateau, allowing for a more contemplative exploration.
Beyond their individual features, the beauty of these sites lies in their connection to ancient Egyptian civilization. They offer a tangible link to the past, allowing us to connect with the achievements, beliefs, and lives of people who lived thousands of years ago.
The beauty is also subjective. Some may find the sheer scale and engineering marvels breathtaking, while others may be captivated by the mysteries and stories associated with these sites. Ultimately, the beauty of these locations is in the eye of the beholder.

EXCELLENT Based on 451 reviews Posted on Dreamer24089257191Verified Great shopping experience Hussein was so nice and patient as we went round all the stops. He never rushed me and even bought me snacks alomg the way. Thank you to Sofy Egypt for being so understanding about my plans and to Hussein as well.Posted on marconicolaVerified visit with excellent guide Visit to the GEM very interesting, accompanied by a very competent guide who told us the secrets of ancient Egypt and accompanied us to the most interesting points of the museum.Posted on Paolo da GenovaVerified Fantastic day in Cairo A fantastic day to discover the truest Cairo, off the usual tourist routes with the excellent guide Yasser Khallaf, competent, helpful and friendly, introduced us to wonderful and unexpected corners. Absolutely recommendedPosted on 74alle74Verified Let us accompany you!! My advice is to visit the museum with a guide, as it is really big and turn it around randomly does not make much sense. We had the well-prepared Yasser called Felice from Sofy tours who guided us in the most representative areas without wasting our time, explaining the story in detail and leaving us at the end time to take pictures. He is very cheerful and nice but at the same time cultured and professional, he also introduced us to local experiences not provided for in the program. Top!Posted on Samantha SVerified Cairo Pyramids Gem Our guide Giustino explained everything to us exhaustively. It's a serious and helpful guidePosted on Luisa MVerified 🤩 Short but intense visit. The GEM is a must-see show! He deserves the trip alone! Assisted by a guide is certainly more appreciable.Posted on Elijah GVerified Amazing experience! The whole crew was amazing. We sang. We drank tea. We learned about the Nile. The crew was helpful with pictures and told us about Egyptian history.Posted on Leelakanti RVerified Cairo They did an awesome tour for us. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. They shared lots of information. They were also very friendly and helpful. I was travelling with my mother and they took very good care of us. We had a driver by the name of Ahmed. He was simply amazing. The 2 days with him was so fun. They are all so down to earth. They love their job and are amazing at it.Posted on HotelDiana39Verified Recommend Well organized, the guide Leyla is very professional and prepared, she guided us perfectly among the historical beauties of Cairo. We woudl book it againPosted on kumarkmitraVerified A Day well spent in Giza covering the Pyramids, Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. We had a fabulous day as we spent the first half of the day visiting the Pyramids & the Sphinx. Our guide Adel was very nice, and he explained the history of the Pyramids very well. Our second part of the day was in the Grand Egyptian Museum which again was awesome. Unfortunately, we ran out of time. The choice of lunch and 2 other local attractions we visited on the recommendation of Adel was also very interesting. I would say it was thoughtful of him to take us there. Our guide also took good pictures of all of us.Would recommend Sofy Tours to others. Knowledgeable guides who are well behaved and well informed.Showing our latest reviewsVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. I would recommend Sofy Egypt Tours for everyone travelling to Egypt. High quality tours and staff. We booked their fayoum all inclusive day tour and it was the best thing we did in Egypt. The sandboarding, the 4x4 safari, magic lake, whale fossils and lunch were all amazing. We even needed to make some changes to our itinerary and Sofy Egypt tours were so flexible and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had the pleasure of having Hany and Ahmed on our tour. They made the trip so fun and enjoyable. My kids will never forget this wonderful experience. Thank you so much.Posted on Jorge VillasmilTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The tour company went out of their way to schedule us a last-minute half-day tour of the grand Egyptian museum with lunch at a restaurant with a great view of the pyramids. this made our unexpected 10 hour layover, very enjoyable and productive. Our guide Abdul was extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history, and was enthusiastic and fun. He took us to all the important artifacts in the grand Museum so we could make the best use of our limited time and energy. Our driver Ahmed was thoughtful and got a safe flight around a very busy Cairo.Posted on Valarie KuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
